Mr. RRL

Alongside the Polo Ralph Lauren brand, I have been a big fan of the RRL line since '93-'94 (my high school years). So, it's only right that I give props to the vintage guru himself, head of design for RRL, Doug Bihlmaier for running the show and keeping RRL both refined and rustic. The clothes don't make the man, it's the man that makes the clothes and Mr. Bihlmaier is the man.

The Lo-Lifes

Lo-Lifes Then and Now

In the late 80s, death was all around us in Brownsville and Marcus Garvey Village. We supported each other through some of the harshest times in Brooklyn’s history—crack was raging and guns went off daily. Before we were known as the Lo-lifes, we were just friends who wore Polo and Ralph Lauren. We spent days in the pool and at the local jams, bagging pieces, and living our lives. Our only concerns were money, hoes, and clothes. We had reputations for bringing home the finest pieces and staying fly. At first, cats around us took this as a weakness; they thought we couldn’t get busy. We proved them wrong on many occasions.

The Lo-lifes were unified under a single label. We weren’t thought of as greedy cats, killers, or thugs—we were original, trendsetters, and go-getters. And now we’ve spread around the world: Spain, Brazil, Australia, France, and too many other places to name.

We lost many of our brothers along the way. I did their names on walls, looked at their young faces in coffins, and cried with my brothers. Every tear, drop of blood, and funeral added weight and value to the name Lo-life. We hold it in high regard; we don’t take it lightly or allow it to be abused. We are a family first, call us what you want after that. 2LLs: love and loyalty!

Gilbert & George!

Gilbert and George are two modern artists who work together as a duo. Gilbert Proesch (born 17 September 1943) and George Passmore (born 8 January 1942) are to be seen and heard in much of their art, and have become famous for their odd, highly formal appearance and manner. Gilbert and George occupy a unique position among contemporary artists of the last half-century and have built up a vast body of art that has earned them international acclaim.

Ku Klux Klan Endorses Obama

KENTUCKY - USA - Imperial Wizard, Ronald Edwards has stated that, "anything is better than Hillary Clinton."

White Christian Supremacist group the Ku Klux Klan has endorsed Barack Obama to be the next President of the United States of America. Speaking from his Kentucky office in Dawson Springs, the Imperial Wizard exclaimed that anything or anyone is better than having that "crazy ass bitch" as President. This is the first time in Klan history that any member of the KKK has ever publicly supported an African American candidate for the presidency. KKK lodges all over America have been gathering and holding rallies supporting the black presidential candidate.

KKK members in Tennessee rally against Hillary Clinton and support Barack Obama

Grand Turk Cletus Monroe has also been very vocal about the election and has donated thousands of dollars to Obama's election fund.

"The boy's gonna do it. My Klan group has donated up to $250,000 to the Obama fund. Anything is better than Hillary Clinton. Hell I'll even adopt a black kid from Africa before I vote for Hillary."

"A few years back we were lynching negroes. Now we're gonna vote for one to be president of the US of motherfu**ing A, damn it! Anyone or anything is better than Hillary Clinton - anything!!"

Placards for Barack Obama have been put up around the Klan's Headquarters and the KKK have announced a television ad campaign to support the African American candidate.
